Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners, notebooks, stickers, covers, and template pages in GoodNotes. The official links below are for downloads, updates, and current help pages.
Before you start
- Keep the original download untouched, then import one working copy into GoodNotes.
- If the file is a ZIP, extract it before importing the PDF, PNG sticker, cover, or other app-supported file.
- After the first step, test one Index link, one writing mark, and one page action before setting up the whole planner.

Import the PDF into GoodNotes
- Save the NozomuNoto PDF to the Files app first. If the download is a ZIP, extract the ZIP in Files before importing.
- Open GoodNotes and go to the Documents tab in Library View.
- Tap + New, then tap Import.
- Choose the NozomuNoto PDF and tap Open.
- To add a PDF into an existing planner instead, open that planner, go to the page before or after the insert point, tap the Add Page icon, then tap Import.
From the Files app
Open the PDF in Files, tap Share, choose Open in GoodNotes, choose New Document or Current Document, then confirm the import.
GoodNotes import checks
1. Choose the PDF for planners and notebooks
NozomuNoto planners and notebooks should be imported as PDF files. PNG files are for stickers, covers, image assets, or product extras when the download includes them.
2. Extract the ZIP before importing
If the file picker shows a ZIP or the planner looks missing, return to Files and tap the ZIP first. GoodNotes needs the extracted PDF, not the compressed download folder.
3. Import as a new document first
For the first setup, use + New > Import. Adding the planner into another document can make it harder to find and harder to troubleshoot.
4. Name the imported planner clearly
After import, rename the document with the product, year, orientation, week start, and color, such as Yume Techo 26-27 Landscape Monday Garden.
If import does not work
If the file is greyed out, confirm that it is an extracted PDF and not a ZIP, unsupported file, or cloud placeholder that has not downloaded to the device yet. If GoodNotes opens but the planner links do not move, keep the file and go to GoodNotes hyperlink help next.
