Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners and notebooks on Boox devices. E-readers are best for calm writing, reading, bookmarks, page review, and light annotation, so this guide keeps the setup simple and points out where a tablet app may still be better.
Before you start
- Open the original PDF and test links before decorating, duplicating, or exporting pages.
- If the product arrives in a ZIP, extract it first, then transfer the PDF file your e-reader can open.
- After the first step, test one Index link, one writing mark, and one page action before setting up the whole planner.
Official source links
Use these for current app downloads, app updates, and vendor support.
Tool icons to look for
E-reader icons can move a little by model and firmware version. Use these as the action cues while you follow the steps below, then check the official help link above when your screen looks different.
Use links and reading tools on Boox
- Open the NozomuNoto PDF planner in NeoReader.
- Go to the NozomuNoto Index, a monthly tab, a section tab, or another printed planner link.
- Tap the center area of the page to show the NeoReader menu when the toolbar is hidden.
- Use reading/navigation tools when tapping links. Use annotation or pen tools when writing.
- If a tap writes or selects text instead of moving, leave the writing or selection tool, then tap the planner link again.
- If links are limited on your exact Boox firmware, use the Contents panel, bookmarks, page jump, thumbnails, page numbers, and the NozomuNoto Index as the return path.
Boox navigation note
Boox firmware and NeoReader versions can look a little different. The important habit is simple: use reader/navigation tools for movement, pen tools for writing, and Contents or Bookmarks when you need a reliable way back.
