Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners, notebooks, stickers, covers, and template pages in Samsung Notes. The official links below are for downloads, updates, and current help pages.
Before you start
- Test a fresh copy first so the problem is not caused by an edited, flattened, or exported file.
- If the file is a ZIP, extract it before importing the PDF, PNG sticker, cover, or other app-supported file.
- After the first step, test one Index link, one writing mark, and one page action before setting up the whole planner.

Samsung Notes problems to check first
- The page sorter or page actions are missing: set Settings > Default note style to Split pages, choose the correct layout, then re-import a fresh copy. A planner imported before this setting may not behave the same.
- The PDF will not import or looks wrong: check the planner orientation. Samsung says portrait and landscape PDFs should match the note orientation.
- Planner tabs do not move: tap the book/read mode icon, then test the same link again before writing or using selection tools.
- You cannot apply Samsung page templates: Samsung says page templates cannot be applied to a note imported from a PDF. Use the NozomuNoto template pages inside the planner instead.
- Page copying feels limited: use Samsung Notes for light page actions only. For heavy template duplication or page rearranging, Penly will usually be smoother on Android.
When to re-import
Re-import when the planner was imported before Split pages, when the wrong orientation was used, or when exported/edited copies stop behaving like the original PDF. Keep the original download untouched so this reset is easy.
