  • Test a fresh copy first so the problem is not caused by an edited, flattened, or exported file.
  • If the product arrives in a ZIP, extract it first, then transfer the PDF file your e-reader can open.

Fix common Boox planner problems

  1. If links do not move, open the NeoReader menu and switch away from pen, annotation, selection, or handwriting tools before tapping again.

  2. If the page is hard to find, use Contents, bookmarks, page jump, thumbnails, or the printed NozomuNoto Index page instead of scrolling through the whole planner.
  3. If handwriting disappears, test one mark on a fresh copy of the PDF, close it, reopen it, and check whether NeoReader saved the annotation.
  4. If page edits create confusion, stop using that edited copy and transfer the untouched backup PDF again.
  5. If your Boox screen looks different, check the BOOX help center or your device manual because NeoReader tools move by firmware version.
