A hyperlinked PDF planner is a PDF file with clickable areas that jump to other pages in the same file. Tabs, index pages, monthly buttons, and weekly buttons can all be links.
What links can do
- Jump from an index page to a section.
- Move from a month tab to a monthly calendar.
- Open a weekly or daily page from a dated page.
- Return to a home, index, or dashboard page.
What links cannot do
- They do not automatically create new planner pages.
- They do not sync with your calendar unless the app has that separate feature.
- They do not work the same way in every app or device.
How to test links
Open the original PDF in your chosen app and tap a few obvious navigation areas, such as tabs or index buttons. If nothing happens, check whether your app has a read-only, view, or link navigation mode.
