How to use planner hyperlinks in Xodo

Use built-in PDF links, tabs, and buttons in Xodo.

Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners, notebooks, stickers, covers, and template pages in Xodo. Official source links are included below for app updates and support pages used while preparing this guide.

Official source links

These are the app or device sources checked for the current guide. Use them for app updates, downloads, and vendor support.

Use hyperlinks

  1. Open the original imported PDF planner or notebook.
  2. Go to an index page, monthly tab, weekly tab, or linked button.
  3. Use Xodo PDF navigation. Links are PDF objects, so test the original PDF before editing.
  4. If the link does not open, switch modes and test again before editing the file.
  5. If links still fail, open the same PDF in another PDF viewer. If they work there, the PDF links are present and the app mode is the likely issue.

Common causes

  • The app is in writing, lasso, text, or selection mode.
  • The file was exported from another app and links were flattened or removed.
  • The page was copied from a non-linked file instead of duplicated from the original planner.
  • The app version or platform does not support the same PDF features as the iPad tutorial you watched.
