How to Import a NozomuNoto PDF into CollaNote on iPad
Learn how to import a NozomuNoto PDF planner or notebook into CollaNote on iPad, choose the correct file, extract ZIP folders, and save a backup first.
On this page
Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners, notebooks, stickers, covers, and template pages in CollaNote. The official links below are for downloads, updates, and current help pages.
Before importing into CollaNote
Make sure you are importing the actual planner or notebook PDF.
- Save the original download as your clean backup.
- If your download is a ZIP file, extract it first in Files.
- Open the extracted folder.
- Choose the actual planner or notebook PDF.
- Skip the receipt, preview page, ZIP file, and instruction-only PDF for the planner import.
- After importing, open the file in CollaNote, test one link, and write one small note before setting up everything.
Reference links
Use these for current app or device help, downloads, updates, vendor help, and manual references.
Import the PDF into CollaNote on iPad
- Save and extract the NozomuNoto download first so the PDF is visible in Files, iCloud Drive, or your chosen folder.
- Open CollaNote on the main library screen.
- Tap the bottom + button.
- Choose Import PDF.
- Choose the extracted NozomuNoto PDF from the iPad file picker.
- Open the imported planner and check the cover, Index, and one dated page before writing heavily.
Import check
For NozomuNoto planners and notebooks, import the extracted PDF. Use PNG files later for stickers, covers, and image extras. The first import should be one clean working copy, not several test copies that all look the same.
If import gets confusing
1. The ZIP is still unopened
What happens: CollaNote may show the package instead of planner pages, or the file picker may hide the full PDF.
What to do: open the download in Files first, extract it, open the extracted folder, then import the PDF file only.
2. The wrong file was chosen
What happens: the file opens like a receipt, preview, single instruction page, sticker sheet, or cover instead of the planner.
What to do: return to the extracted folder and choose the main planner or notebook PDF.
3. The planner opens in the wrong place
What happens: the file opens as a preview or is hard to find later.
What to do: return to the CollaNote library and use the CollaNote import flow again, or share the extracted PDF from Files into CollaNote.
4. Too many imported copies look the same
What happens: the library has duplicate planner thumbnails and you are not sure which one to use.
What to do: keep one working copy, keep the original PDF outside CollaNote, and remove test copies only after the working copy opens correctly.
