Duplicate first

NozomuNoto template pages are reusable source pages inside the PDF. Before writing on a template page in Samsung Notes, copy or add a working page first when your app version shows that option. Then write on the working page.

  1. Open the clean NozomuNoto template page you want to reuse.
  2. Open the page sorter / thumbnail panel.
  3. Use the page action menu to copy the clean template page, add a page, or place the copied page where you need it.
  4. Write, type, decorate, or plan on the copied page.
  5. Keep the original template page clean so you can reuse it again later.

Use these for current app or device help, downloads, updates, vendor help, and manual references.

  5. Place the copied or added page where you plan to use it.
  6. Write, type, decorate, or plan on the copied page, not the original template page.
  7. Keep the original template page clean so you can reuse it again later.
  8. For Samsung Notes blank note pages, Samsung also has Page template, but Samsung says this cannot be applied to a note imported from a PDF.
  9. If template-page work is the main thing you do every day, Penly or another planner-first app may feel easier than Samsung Notes.

Samsung Notes template checks

1. NozomuNoto templates are PDF pages

Use the template pages already inside the planner PDF. Samsung Notes page templates are separate app templates and try not to replace the NozomuNoto template pages inside an imported planner.

2. Copy before writing

Keep the original NozomuNoto template page clean. Work on a copied or added page so you can reuse the same template later.

3. Keep page work light

Samsung Notes is better for light page work. For lots of template duplication, page rearranging, and sticker-heavy planning, a planner-first Android app may be easier.
