How to change your cover in reMarkable
Use the safest cover or first-page workflow for a NozomuNoto planner in reMarkable.
On this page
Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners and notebooks on reMarkable. E-readers are best for calm writing, reading, bookmarks, page review, and light annotation, so this guide keeps the setup simple and points out where a tablet app may still be better.
Before you start
- Use a cover made for the same planner size and orientation so it fits the document cleanly.
- If the product arrives in a ZIP, extract it first, then transfer the PDF file your e-reader can open.
- After the first step, test one Index link, one writing mark, and one page action before setting up the whole planner.

Prepare the cover before transfer
- As of June 13, 2026, do not assume the e-reader has an app-style cover-changing tool for imported NozomuNoto PDF planners.
- Treat the visible cover as part of the PDF. Prepare cover or first-page changes before transfer.
- If you need a different first page or cover page, place that page at the beginning of the PDF before transferring the planner. You can use iLovePDF Organize PDF to reorder pages for a new working copy.
- Transfer the edited PDF as a new planner copy and keep the original NozomuNoto download unchanged.
- If the device library thumbnail is not useful, use folders and a clear file name to keep planners organized.
- After transfer, test the first page, writing, Index, page navigation, and bookmarks before using that copy every day.
E-reader cover note
As of June 13, 2026, this Help Center guide does not treat app-style cover changing as a verified native workflow for imported PDF planners on every e-reader. Prepare the cover or first page in the PDF before transfer, then use the e-reader for focused writing, reading, bookmarks, and review.
