How to download Etsy digital files on iPad
Download Etsy digital files in Safari or Chrome on iPad, save them to Files, and extract ZIP folders before import.
On this page
Use this guide when you bought a NozomuNoto digital planner, notebook, sticker book, cover, or download page on Etsy and you want to save it on an iPad. The most important part is this: download digital files from Etsy in a browser, not from the Etsy app.
On iPad, Safari is usually the easiest choice because downloaded files go into the Files app. Chrome can also work, but if the download feels confusing, switch to Safari and try again.
Quick path
- Open Safari on your iPad. Go to etsy.com.
- Sign in to the Etsy account used for the purchase. If you bought as a guest, use the receipt email from Etsy instead.
- Open your account menu. Go to Purchases and Reviews.
- Find the NozomuNoto order. Tap Download Files.
- Download the file shown by Etsy. For some products, this is a download/instruction PDF that opens NozomuNoto Library, Builder, or Google Drive.
- Save the file in Files. After Safari downloads it, open the download button near the address bar or open Files > Browse > iCloud Drive > Downloads.
Step-by-step iPad download
- Use Safari, not the Etsy app. The Etsy app can show your order, but Etsy digital files need the mobile browser or a computer download page.
- Go to Etsy Purchases and Reviews. In Safari, sign in at etsy.com, tap your account icon, then choose Purchases and Reviews. If your menu says only a few options, scroll or open the full account page.
- Tap Download Files on the NozomuNoto order. Etsy opens a download page with the files attached to that order. If the payment is still processing, the button may not be ready yet, so wait a little and refresh.
- Choose the download instruction file first if there are several files. Many NozomuNoto Etsy orders include a PDF that contains the Library, Builder, Google Drive, tutorial, or shortcut links. Open that file and follow the link inside.
- Confirm the Safari download prompt. If Safari asks whether you want to download, tap Download. Wait until the download finishes before leaving the page.
- Find the file in Files. Tap the Safari download icon near the address bar, or open the Files app and check Browse > iCloud Drive > Downloads.
If the Etsy file opens another link
Some Etsy files are small instruction PDFs because the real planner may be stored in NozomuNoto Library, NozomuNoto Builder, or Google Drive. That is normal. Open the PDF, tap the link inside, then download the final PDF from the page it opens.
- NozomuNoto Library: verify with your Etsy order number or synced email, then open your downloads.
- NozomuNoto Builder: verify your purchase, choose any product options, wait for Your file is ready!, then tap Download file.
- Google Drive: open the file or folder link, then use the download button. If it opens as a preview, download it before importing into an app.
If the file is a ZIP
Tap the ZIP file in the Files app to extract it. iPadOS will create an extracted folder next to the ZIP. Open that folder, then look for the PDF, PNG stickers, app-specific GoodNotes file, or instruction PDF you need.
After the download
- Keep the original file safe. Leave one clean copy in Files before importing or decorating.
- Import into your app. In GoodNotes, Notability, Noteshelf, Noteful, Flexcil, CollaNote, or another PDF annotation app, use the app import/open/share option.
- Test one link and one pen mark. Open the NozomuNoto Index or a month tab, test that links move correctly, then write one small mark and confirm it saves.
If something does not work
- You cannot see Download Files: make sure you are on etsy.com in Safari and signed into the same Etsy account used for purchase. The Etsy app is not enough for digital downloads.
- You bought as a guest: open the receipt email from Etsy and use the download link in that email.
- The download button is gray or missing: payment may still be processing, or the wrong Etsy account may be open.
- The file disappeared after downloading: open Files > Browse > iCloud Drive > Downloads, or tap the Safari download icon near the address bar.
- The file says unsupported: check whether it is a ZIP, PDF, PNG, or app-specific GoodNotes file. Extract ZIP files first, then import the correct file into the correct app.
- The planner opens but links do not work: switch the app to read/view/navigation mode, then test the Index or month tabs again.
