How to Change a NozomuNoto Planner Cover in StarNote on iPad
Learn how to change a NozomuNoto planner or notebook cover in StarNote, choose the right cover file, save a backup, and avoid replacing the wrong page.

Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners, notebooks, stickers, covers, and template pages in StarNote. The official links below are for downloads, updates, and current help pages.
Before changing your cover
Save a clean backup of your planner or notebook first. Then check what type of cover file you have.
- PDF cover: use this when you want to insert or replace a full page.
- PNG or JPG cover: use this when you want to place the cover as an image on an existing page.
- StarNote-specific cover file: use this only when the product clearly says it is made for StarNote.
- Decide whether you want to replace the current first page or insert a new cover page.
- After the cover change, open the planner and test the Index or one main link.
Keep your original planner file saved outside StarNote so you can start again with a clean copy.

Keep the cover simple in StarNote
- Open All notes and look at the planner thumbnail. In this Help Center workflow, treat that thumbnail as a preview of the imported PDF, not as a separate StarNote cover tool.

Page 1 checkUse Document overview to check the first page before attempting any cover workflow. Product shown: Yume Techo Academic 26-27 Landscape. - Check the first page. If the included NozomuNoto cover or front page is already correct, leave it unchanged.
- Try not to move linked dated planner pages only to force a new cover thumbnail. This StarNote workflow does not verify a safe imported-PDF move-to-front cover action.
- If you need a different first page, prepare that PDF before importing into StarNote, or use an app with a verified page-reorder/cover workflow and test the links before daily planning.
StarNote cover file checks
The screenshot-ready StarNote workflow shows page actions such as Duplicate current page, Copy the current page, and Delete current page. It does not show a dedicated Change Cover button, so treat the cover as the first PDF page or as an image placed on a page.
