Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners, notebooks, stickers, covers, and template pages in Kilonotes. The official links below are for downloads, updates, and current help pages.

If tapping a tab, date, Index item, or button writes on the page, selects something, or stays on the same page, the planner file is usually okay. Kilonotes may still be in writing or editing mode.

  1. Switch to the hand / navigation tool before testing planner links.
  2. Try tapping the link with your finger.
  3. Test one obvious link from the Index page.
  4. Make sure the PDF has been imported into Kilonotes instead of only opened in a preview screen.
  5. If the link still stays on the page, import a fresh clean copy and test again.

Use these for current app or device help, downloads, updates, vendor help, and manual references.

  1. Open the imported NozomuNoto planner inside Kilonotes, not only a file preview screen.
  2. Tap the hand / navigation tool on the top toolbar before using planner links.

  4. If the tap writes, selects, opens a tool, or stays on the same page, tap the hand / navigation tool again and test one Index link with your finger.
  5. If the PDF was only previewed in Files, Drive, Downloads, or another Android screen, import the PDF into Kilonotes first.
  6. Keep one clean copy of the original PDF outside Kilonotes so you can re-import if a heavily edited copy starts behaving strangely.

1. Separate writing from navigation

Kilonotes can write, select, add images, and use page tools. Planner links work best when you use the hand / navigation tool first, then return to writing after the jump works.

Start with one obvious Index link, one tab, and one date or section button before writing across many pages.

3. Check import state

Use the PDF imported into Kilonotes. A preview in Drive, Files, Downloads, or another Android picker can show the PDF without acting like the Kilonotes working copy.

1. A writing tool is active

What happens: tapping writes ink, selects something, opens a tool, or stays on the same page.

What to do: switch to the hand / navigation tool and tap the same link again.

2. The file is only previewed

What happens: the PDF opens from Files, Drive, or Downloads, but Kilonotes tools and planner links are not active.

What to do: import the PDF into Kilonotes from the library, then test one Index link again.

3. The working copy has too many edits

What happens: links worked at first, then became harder to use after page moves, exports, or heavy edits.

What to do: import a fresh clean copy of the original PDF and test the same link before moving pages again.
