How to use the index page in reMarkable

Use the NozomuNoto index page as the main map inside reMarkable.

On this page
  1. Before you start
  2. Reference links
  3. Use PDF navigation on reMarkable
  4. E-reader limits and help details

Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners and notebooks on reMarkable. E-readers are best for calm writing, reading, bookmarks, page review, and light annotation, so this guide keeps the setup simple and points out where a tablet app may still be better.

Before you start

  • Use the Index as the home base before jumping into monthly, weekly, template, or notes pages.
  • If the product arrives in a ZIP, extract it first, then transfer the PDF file your e-reader can open.
  • After the first step, test one Index link, one writing mark, and one page action before setting up the whole planner.

Use these for current app or device help, downloads, updates, vendor support, and manual references.

Use PDF navigation on reMarkable

  1. Open the PDF planner.
  2. Tap Page overview to jump by thumbnail.

  3. Swipe left or right to turn pages.
  4. Use NozomuNoto index pages and printed page labels inside the planner as the main navigation.
    Quick browse
Quick browseQuick browse is a reMarkable navigation shortcut, not a NozomuNoto page.
  5. This reMarkable guide does not rely on tappable PDF links. Use Page overview, quick browse, printed planner tabs or labels, and page numbers as the dependable navigation path.
