How to set up your first NozomuNoto planner in Noteshelf
Set up your first NozomuNoto planner or notebook in Noteshelf from a clean backup copy.
On this page
Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners, notebooks, stickers, covers, and template pages in Noteshelf. The official links below are for downloads, updates, and current help pages.
Before you start
- Start with a small setup: Index, current month, current week, one notes page, and one template copy.
- If the file is a ZIP, extract it before importing the PDF, PNG sticker, cover, or other app-supported file.
- After the first step, test one Index link, one writing mark, and one page action before setting up the whole planner.

Use these for current app or device help, downloads, updates, vendor support, and manual references.
Set up your first NozomuNoto planner in Noteshelf
- Import one clean NozomuNoto PDF from the Noteshelf Add menu using Import.
- Open the imported planner from All Notes.
- Turn on Read-Only Mode and test the Index page, one month tab, and one weekly or daily link.
- Open the Pages or Finder view and bookmark only the pages you need this week: Index, current month, current week, and Notes.
- Find one clean template page, open the page action menu, and tap Duplicate before writing.
- Use the Add menu to test one PNG sticker or image from Image.
- Keep the original download outside Noteshelf as your backup copy.
Good first Noteshelf setup
Start with import, Read-Only Mode, one bookmark set, one duplicated template, and one image test. This proves the planner works before you spend time decorating or rearranging pages.
When Noteshelf feels confusing
1. Links and writing tools feel mixed up
What happens: you tap a planner tab, but Noteshelf acts like you want to write.
What to do: use Read-Only Mode for links, then Edit when you want to write.
2. Pages view feels too busy
What happens: the planner has many pages and thumbnails feel overwhelming.
What to do: bookmark only Index, current month, current week, Notes, and one active template copy.
3. Decorating starts before setup is tested
What happens: stickers and page changes happen before import, links, and page tools are understood.
What to do: test import, Read-Only Mode, Pages view, one bookmark, one duplicate, and one image first.
