Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners, notebooks, stickers, covers, and template pages in CollaNote. The official links below are for downloads, updates, and current help pages.

Before changing your cover

Save a clean backup of your planner or notebook first. Then check the cover file type before changing any page.

  1. PDF cover: use this when you want to insert or replace a full page.
  2. PNG or JPG cover: use this when you want to place the cover as an image.
  3. CollaNote-specific cover file: use this only when the product clearly says it is made for CollaNote.
  4. Backup: keep the original NozomuNoto planner file outside CollaNote.
  5. After changing: reopen the planner, check the first page or library thumbnail, and test one Index link.

Use these for current app or device help, downloads, updates, vendor help, and manual references.

Change a cover in CollaNote on iPad

  1. Open the CollaNote library and check the planner thumbnail first.

  2. Save one clean backup outside CollaNote before changing the first page or adding a cover image.
  3. Choose the cover file type: PDF cover for a full page, PNG or JPG cover for an image placed on a page, or a CollaNote-specific cover only when the product clearly includes one.
  4. For a PDF cover, use the page thumbnail panel and page menu only after you know which page should become the first page.

  5. For a PNG or JPG cover, place it as an image on the page where you want the cover artwork.
  6. After the cover change, reopen the planner, check the thumbnail or first page, and test the Index or one main planner link.

Choose the right cover file

  1. PDF cover: best when the cover should act like a full planner page.
  2. PNG or JPG cover: best when you want cover artwork placed as an image on an existing page.
  3. CollaNote-specific cover file: use it only when the NozomuNoto product clearly labels it for CollaNote.

If the cover does not look right

1. Wrong orientation

What happens: a portrait cover looks squeezed on a landscape planner, or a landscape cover looks cropped on a portrait planner.

What to do: use a cover made for the same orientation and product size.

2. The wrong page changed

What happens: the first page, thumbnail, or linked planner page no longer feels right after a cover change.

What to do: go back to the clean backup, then repeat the cover change with the right file type.
