Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners, notebooks, stickers, covers, and template pages in Kilonotes. The official links below are for downloads, updates, and current help pages.

Before changing your cover

Save a clean backup of your planner or notebook first.

Then check what type of cover file you have:

  1. Use a PDF cover if you want to insert or replace a full page.
  2. Use a PNG or JPG cover if you want to place it as an image.
  3. Use an app-specific cover file only if it is made for Kilonotes.

After changing the cover, check that the planner still opens correctly and keep your original planner file safe.

Use these for current app or device help, downloads, updates, vendor help, and manual references.

Keep the cover simple in Kilonotes on iPad

  1. Open the Kilonotes library and check the planner thumbnail first.

  2. If the thumbnail already shows the imported planner correctly, keep the cover as-is.
  3. If you want a different visible front page, decide that before writing heavily in the planner.
  4. Use the page thumbnail panel only if you understand which page should become the first page.
    First page check
First page checkUse thumbnails only if you understand which page should stay first. Product shown: Yume Techo Academic 26-27 Landscape.
  5. Try not to move linked dated planner pages only to force a new cover thumbnail.
  6. Keep the original NozomuNoto PDF outside Kilonotes so you can restart cleanly if the visible cover or first page becomes confusing.

Choose the cover file first

Use the file type that matches the change you want to make. A PDF cover works like a full page. A PNG or JPG cover works like an image placed on a page. A Kilonotes-specific cover file should only be used when the product clearly says it is made for Kilonotes.

Cover safety check

  1. Back up first. Keep the original NozomuNoto planner file saved outside Kilonotes.
  2. Check page position. Make sure you know which page will become the visible cover or first page.
  3. Test after changing. Open the planner, check the thumbnail, and test the Index or one planner link.
  4. Stop if the wrong page changes. Return to a clean copy instead of repairing a messy page order.
