Setting up your planner/notebook for the first time

Set up your first NozomuNoto planner or notebook in StarNote from a clean backup copy.

  2. Set up your first planner or notebook
  3. Before you use it every day
  4. Good first setup

Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners, notebooks, stickers, covers, and template pages in StarNote. Official source links are included below for app updates and support pages used while preparing this guide.

These are the app or device sources checked for the current guide. Use them for app updates, downloads, and vendor support.

Set up your first planner or notebook

  1. Keep the original NozomuNoto download unchanged as your backup file.
  2. Import one clean working copy into StarNote.
  3. Rename the file clearly, especially if you use dated and undated versions together.
  4. Open the index page, then test one main tab, one section link, and one page link.
  5. Duplicate one template page and move it to the place where you plan to use it.
  6. Check StarNote bookmarks, favorites, or a NozomuNoto index page workflow and save the index, current month, or current week if useful.
  7. Change the cover only after the planner opens and navigation works.
  8. Add one sticker or image as a test before setting up a full weekly or monthly spread.
  9. Start with the current month or week first. Expand the setup after the basic workflow feels stable.

Before you use it every day

  • The planner opens from the correct file location.
  • The index and main tabs work.
  • You can write on a test page.
  • You know how to duplicate a template page.
  • You have one untouched backup copy outside the app/device.

Good first setup

Use a simple setup first: index, current month, current week, one notes section, and a few favorite pages. Add more custom pages after the basic planner is easy to use.
