First-day setup
Keep your first setup small. Start with the PDF, one link, one note, and one real page.
- Save the original download as your clean backup.
- Import the actual planner or notebook PDF into StarNote.
- Open the planner or notebook in StarNote.
- Go to the Index page.
- Tap the book-shaped read icon, then tap one link to test navigation.
- Write one small note or task.
- Try one real page you will use today.
Decorating, organizing every section, copying every template, and setting up the whole planner can wait. Learn the planner by using one real page first.

Set up your first NozomuNoto planner in StarNote
- Import one clean NozomuNoto PDF from All notes using the Create card, Import files, and the planner PDF.
- Open the planner from StarNote.
- Tap the book-shaped read icon and test the Index page, one month tab, and one weekly or daily link.
- After the first link and first real page work, use Document overview only for return points you need this week: Index, current month, current week, and Notes.
- Duplicate a clean template later when you know which reusable page you need.
- Save stickers and extra image tests for after the planner basics work.
- Keep the original download outside StarNote as your backup copy.
Good first StarNote setup
Start with the PDF, one Index link, one small note or task, and one real page you will use today. Bookmarks, template copies, stickers, covers, and page organizing can wait until the planner basics work.
