Duplicate first

NozomuNoto template pages are reusable source pages. Before writing on a template page in Kilonotes, duplicate the page first, then write on the duplicate.

  1. Open the clean NozomuNoto template page you want to reuse.
  2. Open the page thumbnail panel from the top-left page button.
  3. Use the page menu to copy or duplicate the clean template page.
  4. Write, type, decorate, or plan on the duplicate page.
  5. Keep the original template page clean so you can reuse it again later.

Use these for current app or device help, downloads, updates, vendor help, and manual references.

  6. Keep one clean original template page clean and write on the copied page.

Template safety rule

Use Copy Page first. The clean template is your master copy. If it gets filled by accident, import a fresh NozomuNoto copy, find the clean template again, and copy from that clean page.

Useful template workflow

  1. Find the clean page. Use the Index or page thumbnails.
  2. Duplicate before writing. Write on the duplicate, not the original template.
  3. Move only the working copy. Place the duplicate near the section where you will use it.
  4. Add a clear return point. Use a custom outline entry or bookmark only for active copied pages.
  5. Review later. Delete or archive old experiment copies when they are no longer needed.

If the clean template is already filled

Skip long erasing sessions. Re-import the original PDF, find the clean template page, copy it again, and keep the new working copy clearly named or bookmarked.
