Before you start

  • Use the Index as the home base before jumping into monthly, weekly, template, or notes pages.
  • If the file is a ZIP, extract it before importing the PDF, PNG sticker, cover, or other app-supported file.
  • After the first step, test one Index link, one writing mark, and one page action before setting up the whole planner.

Use these for current app or device help, downloads, updates, vendor support, and manual references.

How Index works with Notability

Use Index as the product map and Content Manager as the page manager. Index is better for planned navigation. Content Manager is better for thumbnails, bookmarks, moving pages, and page actions.

If copied pages are hard to find

A copied template page may not appear from the original Index link. Bookmark the copied page in Content Manager or keep it near the section where you use it.
