How to Change a NozomuNoto Planner Cover in Xodo
Learn how to change a NozomuNoto planner or notebook cover in Xodo, choose the right cover file, save a backup, and avoid replacing the wrong page.
On this page
Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners, notebooks, stickers, covers, and template pages in Xodo. The official links below are for downloads, updates, and current help pages.
Before changing your cover
Save a clean backup of your planner or notebook before changing the first page or adding a new cover in Xodo.
- PDF cover file: use it when you want to insert, move, or replace a full PDF page.
- PNG or JPG cover: use it when you want to place an image on a page with Xodo Insert tools.
- App-specific cover file: use it only when the file says it is made for Xodo.
- Original first page: keep it until the new cover, page fit, Index, and one tab link are checked.
After changing the cover, reopen the saved PDF and check the first page before writing more.

Change a planner cover in Xodo
- Save the original NozomuNoto planner or notebook PDF outside Xodo as your clean backup.
- Check the cover file type before editing: PDF cover page, PNG image, JPG image, or Xodo-specific file.
- For a PDF cover page, open the Pages grid and use Xodo page tools only when the page-add, move, or duplicate action is clear on your screen.
- For a PNG or JPG cover, switch to Insert, tap the image icon, choose the image source, and place the cover image carefully on the page.
- Keep the current first page until the new cover fits the planner and the PDF still opens normally.
- Return to View mode, test the Index, one tab, and one date or section link after changing the cover.
- Reopen the saved PDF and check the first page or library thumbnail before writing more.
Xodo Android cover checks
1. Choose the cover file type first
Use a PDF cover when you want a full page at the front of the planner. Use a PNG or JPG cover when you want to place the cover as an image.
2. Keep the original first page
Change one copy of the planner first. Keep the old cover until the new cover, page size, and first few planner links are checked.
3. Check page fit and links
After changing the cover, check that the cover fills the page neatly, the Index opens, and one tab or date link still moves in View mode.
If the cover does not fit
Check the product orientation, cover size, and file type. Portrait covers fit portrait planners. Landscape covers fit landscape planners. If an image cover looks stretched or cropped, use the matching PDF cover file when your product includes one.
