Learn how to import a NozomuNoto PDF planner or notebook into Flexcil on iPad, choose the correct file, extract ZIP folders, and save a backup first.
On this page

Before importing into Flexcil
Make sure you are importing the correct file.
- Save the original download as your clean backup.
- If your download is a ZIP file, extract it first in Files.
- Open the extracted folder.
- Choose the actual planner or notebook PDF.
- Skip receipts, preview pages, ZIP files, and instruction-only PDFs for the planner import.
- After importing, open the file in Flexcil, test one link, and write one small note before setting up everything.

Import the PDF into Flexcil
- Save the original NozomuNoto download as your clean backup before importing anything into Flexcil.
- If your download is a ZIP file, extract it in the Files app and open the extracted folder.
- Choose the actual planner or notebook PDF, not a receipt, preview page, ZIP file, or instruction-only PDF.
- Open Flexcil to Documents.
- Tap the round + button in the lower-right corner.
- Tap Files.
- Choose the NozomuNoto planner or notebook PDF from the iPad file picker.
- Tap Open.
- When the planner appears in Flexcil Documents, open it and test one tab or Index link before writing.
Import check
Use the PDF file for planners and notebooks. PNG files are for stickers, covers, and image extras when the product includes them. If Flexcil opens the file picker but the planner is not visible, go back to Files and confirm the ZIP has been extracted.
If import gets confusing
1. The ZIP is still unopened
What happens: Flexcil does not show the planner pages, or the file picker shows a package instead of the actual PDF.
What to do: open the download in Files first, extract it, then import the PDF with the product name, year, orientation, week start, and color.
2. The planner imports more than once
What happens: Documents shows several similar planner thumbnails, and it becomes hard to know which one is the working copy.
What to do: open the newest clean copy, test one tab, rename or organize it clearly, and delete test copies only after the working copy opens correctly.
3. You imported a sticker or cover file by mistake
What happens: the page looks like a single image, sticker sheet, or cover instead of the full planner.
What to do: return to the extracted folder and choose the main planner PDF. Use PNG files later from the image tool.
