How to bookmark pages in GoodNotes
Mark important planner pages so they are faster to find in GoodNotes.
On this page
Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners, notebooks, stickers, covers, and template pages in GoodNotes. The official links below are for downloads, updates, and current help pages.
Bookmarks vs planner links
NozomuNoto planner links are built into the PDF. They move you by tapping tabs, dates, buttons, or Index links. GoodNotes Favorites and Bookmarks are personal markers you add inside GoodNotes for pages you open often.
- Current week
- Today page
- Project page
- Class notes
- Favorite template copy
- Important list
- Planning dashboard
Bookmarks are extra shortcuts. The built-in planner links stay in the PDF, and GoodNotes bookmarks leave the original PDF file unchanged.

Bookmark useful pages in GoodNotes
- Open the planner page you want to save, such as Index, the current month, the current week, or a copied template page.
- Open the Pages panel, open the page menu for that page, then choose Add to Favorites.
- Check that the bookmark marker appears on the page thumbnail.
- In the Pages panel, switch from All Pages to Bookmarks Only when you want to see only saved pages.
- Remove bookmarks from pages you no longer open often so the list stays short.
Best pages to bookmark in GoodNotes
- Index. Use it as the planner map when you feel lost.
- Current month. Use it for appointments, bills, birthdays, school dates, and deadlines.
- Current week. Use it as the page you open most often.
- Copied template pages. Bookmark only the copied pages you are actively using, such as a habit tracker, project page, class page, or finance page.
Keep bookmarks useful
Bookmarks work best as a short return list, not as a second full index. At the end of the month, remove pages you no longer open so the current pages stay easy to find.
If bookmarks get messy
If you bookmarked too many pages, remove everything except Index, current month, current week, and one active copied page. You can always add more later when a page becomes important again.
