Import check

Use the PDF file for planners and notebooks. PNG files are for stickers, covers, and image extras when the product includes them. If Kilonotes opens the file picker but the planner is missing, go back to Files and confirm the ZIP has been extracted.

If import gets confusing

1. The ZIP is still unopened

What happens: Kilonotes does not show the planner pages, or the file picker shows a package instead of the actual PDF.

What to do: open the download in Files first, extract it, then import the PDF with the product name, year, orientation, week start, and color.

2. The planner imports more than once

What happens: the library shows several similar planner thumbnails, and it becomes hard to know which one is the working copy.

What to do: open the newest clean copy, test one tab, rename or organize it clearly, and delete test copies only after the working copy opens correctly.

3. You imported a sticker or cover file by mistake

What happens: the page looks like a single image, sticker sheet, or cover instead of the full planner.

What to do: return to the extracted folder and choose the main planner PDF. Use PNG files later from the image tool.
