How to Set Up Your First NozomuNoto Planner in Flexcil on iPad
Learn how to set up your first NozomuNoto planner or notebook in Flexcil, including importing the PDF, testing links, saving a backup, and starting with one page.
On this page
Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners, notebooks, stickers, covers, and template pages in Flexcil. The official links below are for downloads, updates, and current help pages.
First-day setup
Keep your first setup small. Start with the PDF, one link, one note, and one real page.
- Save the original download as your clean backup.
- Import the actual planner or notebook PDF into Flexcil.
- Open the planner or notebook in Flexcil.
- Go to the Index page.
- Use Gesture mode, then tap one link to test navigation.
- Write one small note or task.
- Try one real page you will use today.
Decorating, organizing every section, copying every template, and setting up the whole planner can wait. Learn the planner by using one real page first.

Set up your first NozomuNoto planner in Flexcil
- Import one clean NozomuNoto PDF from Documents using the round + button, Files, the planner PDF, and Open.
- Open the planner from Flexcil Documents.
- Switch to Gesture mode and test the Index page, one month tab, and one weekly or daily link.
- Open Page Navigation and bookmark only the pages you need this week: Index, current month, current week, and Notes.
- Find one clean template page, open the thumbnail action menu, and tap Duplicate Page before writing.
- Use the image icon and Photo Library to test one PNG sticker or photo.
- Keep the original download outside Flexcil as your backup copy.
Good first Flexcil setup
Start with navigation, one bookmark set, one duplicated template, and one image test. This proves the planner works before you spend time decorating or rearranging pages.
When Flexcil feels confusing
1. Links and writing tools feel mixed up
What happens: you try to tap a tab, but Flexcil acts like you want to write.
What to do: use Gesture mode for links and Pen mode for writing. That one rhythm prevents most accidental taps.
2. Page thumbnails become overwhelming
What happens: Page Navigation shows many pages and it is hard to choose where to go.
What to do: bookmark only Index, current month, current week, Notes, and one active template copy.
3. Decorating starts too early
What happens: stickers and page changes happen before the basic planner flow is tested.
What to do: test import, Gesture mode, Page Navigation, one bookmark, one duplicate, and one image first.
