How to Change a NozomuNoto Planner Cover on BOOX Devices
Learn how NozomuNoto planner covers work on BOOX devices, prepare first-page changes before transfer, and check NeoReader or your PDF app.

Cover changes may work differently on BOOX
BOOX devices can open PDFs in NeoReader or other Android PDF apps. Treat the cover as the first PDF page unless your exact app gives you a separate cover tool.
- Keep the original NozomuNoto PDF outside BOOX as your clean backup.
- Check which cover or first page is already included in the PDF.
- For a different cover, prepare a copied PDF before transfer or use an Android PDF app that can safely edit pages.
- Open the copied PDF in NeoReader first and check the library view, first page, writing, Contents, bookmarks, and Index.
- If the library thumbnail still looks different, use a clear file name, Index, Contents, and bookmarks as your return path.

Manage NozomuNoto covers on BOOX
- Open the extracted NozomuNoto folder and find the planner or notebook PDF. If your product includes separate cover files, keep those files in the same clean folder.
- Treat the visible cover as part of the PDF. On BOOX, the library thumbnail, document view, and first page can vary by app, model, and firmware.
Cover as first pageOn many e-readers, the safest cover approach is preparing the first PDF page before transfer. - If you want a different cover or first page, make a copied PDF and place that page at the beginning before transfer. You can use iLovePDF Organize PDF to reorder pages for a new working copy.
- Transfer the copied PDF with BooxDrop, USB, cloud storage, or the file method you normally use.
- Open the copied PDF in NeoReader first and check the first page, Contents, bookmarks, writing, and one NozomuNoto Index link.
- Keep the original PDF and cover files outside BOOX, so you can rebuild a clean working copy later.
BOOX cover checks
- First-page method: BOOX cover setup is safest when the cover is already the first PDF page before transfer.
- App boundary: NeoReader is the clearest first test. Another Android PDF app may show document thumbnails differently.
- If the thumbnail still looks different: the planner can still work inside the document. Use a clear file name, Index, Contents, and bookmarks to locate it.
