How to use template pages in GoodNotes
Find clean NozomuNoto template pages in GoodNotes and use the safest workflow for that app or device.
On this page
Use these steps to work with NozomuNoto PDF planners, notebooks, stickers, covers, and template pages in GoodNotes. The official links below are for downloads, updates, and current help pages.
Copy first
Template pages are meant to be reused. Before writing on a template page in GoodNotes, copy the page first, then write on the copy.
- Open the clean template page you want to use.
- Use the GoodNotes page tools to copy the page.
- Paste or move the copied page to the section where you want to use it.
- Write, type, decorate, or add stickers on the copied page.
- Keep the original template page clean so you can reuse it again later.
If you already wrote on the original template, import a fresh clean copy from your saved backup when you need a new clean master.

Use template pages in GoodNotes
- Open the NozomuNoto Template Pages section or the clean template page you want to reuse.
- Open the Pages panel so you can see the template page as a thumbnail.
- Open the page menu for the clean template page, then choose Copy Page.
- Open Add Page, then choose Paste Page to place the copied template where you want to use it. Place it near the month, week, project, or section where you will use it so it is easy to find later.
- Write on the copied page, not on the clean master template page.
- Use Change Template only for GoodNotes paper style. GoodNotes paper templates are separate from NozomuNoto PDF template pages.
GoodNotes template page checks
1. Keep the clean master page clean
Before writing, copy the NozomuNoto template page from the Pages panel. Write on the copy so the original template stays reusable.
2. Use page actions for planner pages
Change Template changes GoodNotes paper style. It is separate from NozomuNoto linked planner pages. For Yume Techo or Yume Noto template pages, work from the PDF page and copy it.
3. Bookmark copied pages you actually use
After copying a template, bookmark the working copy if you will return to it. The original Index or Template Pages link usually points to the clean template area, not to every custom copy.
If the clean template already has writing
Re-import a fresh clean copy of the planner, copy the clean template from the fresh file, or keep one original NozomuNoto download outside GoodNotes as your backup master.
